Fr. Vincent Capodanno, MM Memorial Post 1974 located in Liberty, Missouri is quite active with events at their home post in St. James Church. Post 1974 Commander Ann Puck, who is also the National Southwest Regional Commander, spearheads a variety of events and works closely with the local DAV Chapter 2 spreading the word through a Military Ministry program, supporting hospitalized veterans at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, and participating in local veteran related events. Commander Puck recently established an Honor Guard at the post. Depicted in these photos is a post meeting to discuss Military Funeral Honors, a Veterans Day event to remember our Veterans by “Taking a Soldier Home” and boxing up “holiday care items” for deployed troops. Post Commander Puck looks forward to Post 1974’s members to stay just as busy during 2026!
